Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd in London is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for an immediate, ongoing assignment on a commercial site. You will join the maintenance team to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance across HVAC systems and associated plant.

The role requires a mechanically qualified professional with a City & Guilds Level 2, strong multi-skills, and good communication when dealing with clients. Hours are Monday to Friday, with two shifts, and pay is £28 per hour (umbrella).

Qualifications

• Commercial building maintenance experience is required.
• Must provide copies of trade certificates.
• Be multi-skilled with strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Experience with HVAC, emergency lighting, and controls is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance across HVAC systems.
• Emergency lighting tests and controls panel work.
• Operate and monitor BMS systems.
• Maintain logs and update log books.
• Pumps and motors servicing and basic plumbing tasks.

An exciting immediate opportunity to join an established building services company based inLondon. CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting a Mechanical Engineer to cover a commercial site. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday 07:00am to 15:00pm & 15:00pm to 23:00pm

£28 per hour via Umbrella

Contract type: On-going

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive maintenance
• HVAC Systems

• Changing Ballast
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
• Maintain and update Log books
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• Pumps, motors

Requirements

• Mechanically qualified City & Guilds - Level 2
• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
