Job summary
CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd. is seeking an HVAC Engineer to cover a commercial site in Wellingborough with an immediate start. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance alongside the maintenance team, with hours from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.
The ideal candidate is mechanically qualified with City & Guilds and holds F-Gas certification, with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance and strong client-facing skills.
Qualifications
- Mechanically qualified with City & Guilds Level 2 & 3.
- City & Guilds 2079-11 (F-Gas) certification required.
- Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical and HVAC systems.
- Maintain and repair pumps, motors, bearings, seals and compressors.
- Service and maintain Air Handling Units (AHUs) and FCUs, including filter changes and cleaning.
- Carry out basic chiller resets and fault finding.
- Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and identify plant issues.
- Ensure all maintenance records and logbooks are accurately completed.
- Escort specialist subcontractors when required.
- Provide technical support across the portfolio.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with procedures.
