CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd. is seeking an HVAC Engineer to cover a commercial site in Wellingborough with an immediate start. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance alongside the maintenance team, with hours from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.

The ideal candidate is mechanically qualified with City & Guilds and holds F-Gas certification, with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance and strong client-facing skills.

Qualifications

• Mechanically qualified with City & Guilds Level 2 & 3.
• City & Guilds 2079-11 (F-Gas) certification required.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical and HVAC systems.
• Maintain and repair pumps, motors, bearings, seals and compressors.
• Service and maintain Air Handling Units (AHUs) and FCUs, including filter changes and cleaning.
• Carry out basic chiller resets and fault finding.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and identify plant issues.
• Ensure all maintenance records and logbooks are accurately completed.
• Escort specialist subcontractors when required.
• Provide technical support across the portfolio.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with procedures.

HVAC Engineer – Commercial Building – Wellingborough – Immediate start – £30.73 Per Hour

An exciting immediate opportunity to join an established building services company based in Wellingborough. CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting a HVAC Engineer to cover a commercial site. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 08:00am to 17:00pm

£30.73 per hour via Umbrella

Contract type: temp to perm

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical and HVAC systems.

• Service and maintain Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Fan Coil Units (FCUs), including filter changes and cleaning.
• Carry out basic chiller resets and fault finding.
• Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) and identify any plant issues.
• Ensure all maintenance records and logbooks are accurately completed.

• Provide technical support and assist fellow engineers across the portfolio.
• Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.

• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
