Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking an experienced Groundworker to join our civil engineering site in the United Kingdom. You will perform general groundworks, foundations, kerbs, slabs, tactile paving and drainage works under the site manager's supervision.

You should have a CSCS card, a strong work ethic, and be able to work well in a team or solo when required, while maintaining safety on site and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Groundworker position.
• CSCS Card holders preferred.
• Health and safety on site awareness.
• Reliable, punctual and able to follow site manager instructions.

The company:

A well established regional contractor who specialises in Civil Engineering and Infrastructure.

The role:

As the site Groundworker you will be responsible for

• General Groundworks
• Laying Foundations
• Laying Kerbs, Slabs and Tactiles
• Internal and External Drainage

About you:

Ideally you will have previous working experience in a groundworks position.

You will be conscious of health and safety on site and will be weary of others who are working alongside of you.

You will arrive on time, finish your shift at the times allocated by the site manager and complete additional duties as and when the site manager requires.

To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• Previous experience in a Groundworker position
• You will have a CSCS Card.
• Strong work ethic in a team
• Be approachable and happy to work as a point of contact when working in a standalone position.
