Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking a site Groundworker to support civil engineering and infrastructure projects. The role focuses on general groundworks, foundations, kerbs, slabs, tactile paving and drainage works on active sites.

Ideal candidates will have previous groundworking experience, hold a CSCS card, and demonstrate a strong work ethic and reliability, with an ability to work within a team and take direction from on-site management.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Groundworker on construction sites.
• CSCS Card holder.
• Proven teamwork and reliability on site.

The company:

A well established regional contractor who specialises in Civil Engineering and Infrastructure.

The role:

As the site Groundworker you will be responsible for

• General Groundworks
• Laying Foundations
• Laying Kerbs, Slabs and Tactiles
• Internal and External Drainage

About you:

Ideally you will have previous working experience in a groundworks position.

You will be conscious of health and safety on site and will be weary of others who are working alongside of you.

You will arrive on time, finish your shift at the times allocated by the site manager and complete additional duties as and when the site manager requires.

To be successful in your application for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

• Previous experience in a Groundworker position
• You will have a CSCS Card.
• Strong work ethic in a team
• Be approachable and happy to work as a point of contact when working in a standalone position.
