Job summary

Fawkes & Reece Group is seeking a site Groundworker in the United Kingdom to perform general groundworks, assist with foundations, drainage and kerb laying. You will work under the site manager on active civil engineering projects. Punctuality, safety awareness and a practical hands-on approach are essential.

The ideal candidate will have proven groundworking experience, hold a CSCS Card and be a reliable team player who can also take initiative when working alone on site.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Groundworker position.
• CSCS Card holder.
• Strong work ethic as part of a team.
• Able to work as a contact point in a standalone role.

Responsibilities

• General Groundworks on site.
• Laying Foundations as required by the supervisor.
• Laying Kerbs, Slabs and Tactiles on civil works.
• Internal and External Drainage installations and checks.

The role:

As the site Groundworker you will be responsible for

• General Groundworks
• Laying Foundations
• Laying Kerbs, Slabs and Tactiles
• Internal and External Drainage

About you:

Ideally you will have previous working experience in a groundworks position.

You will be conscious of health and safety on site and will be weary of others who are working alongside of you.

You will arrive on time, finish your shift at the times allocated by the site manager and complete additional duties as and when the site manager requires.
