Job summary

Aberdeenshire Council is seeking a post to accompany a child with additional support needs, ensuring safe travel to school and other settings. The role requires close supervision and a strong focus on health and safety, with duties linked to safeguarding and PVG scheme checks.

Qualifications

• This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
• You will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.
• If applicable, an Overseas Criminal Record Check may be required for time spent abroad in the last 5 years.
• You will be required to provide this check.
• A confirmed offer of employment is subject to pre-employment checks being satisfactory.
• This post has a minimum requirement of one reference, which must be your current or most recent employer.

There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
