Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking a Commercial Vehicle Technician for a busy workshop in the Benfleet area. You will service, repair and maintain HGVs and LCVs, complete job sheets and coordinate with the Service and Parts departments.

Salary up to £41,500 with OTE circa £45,000, and overtime opportunities. Normal hours are 8am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with one in four Saturday mornings. NVQ Level 3 qualification and Class 1 Licence are desirable but not required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent required.
• Previous experience as a HGV Technician / LCV fitter.
• Excellent mechanical knowledge.
• A Class 1 Licence.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, repair and maintenance of HGVs or LCVs.
• Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation.
• Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department.
• Completion of MOT preparation.
• Vehicle Inspection.
