Job summary

Yorkshire Trading Company are seeking a Sales Assistant for our Skegness store on a 16‑hour, four‑day rota including weekends. No fixed shifts; mornings may be required.

You'll deliver high levels of customer service, maintain store presentation and stock, process sales on the Epos till, and help with deliveries and product knowledge. We'll provide training and support.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Maintain a fully stocked store
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
• Welcome and greet customers
• Process sales through our Epos till system - Training given
• Actively involved in receiving deliveries
• Keep up to date with product information
• Accurately describe product features and benefits
• Follow all companies policies and procedures

Job description

Yorkshire Trading Company are a family owned and run business with 38 stores throughout Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East; a busy E:Commerce operation and outdoor events teams who trade nationwide.

We now have an opportunity for an additional recruit to the sales assistant team in our Skegness store.

The positions offered are: 16 hours over 4 days to include weekends on a rota basis and may include some early mornings

Our goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase the company’s growth and revenue through sales maximisation
