Job summary

Yorkshire Trading Company is hiring for additional sales assistants at our Garstang store. These 16-hour roles over 4 days include weekends on a rota.

You will deliver high levels of customer service, maintain store standards, process sales on our EPOS till, assist with deliveries and keep product knowledge up to date.

The role offers an induction period, 5.6 weeks annual leave pro rata, and a 12.5% staff discount after the induction period.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering high levels of customer service.
• Ability to work weekends on rota.
• Good familiarity with till systems (EPOS).

Responsibilities

Yorkshire Trading Company are a family owned and run business with 38 stores throughout Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the North East; a busy E:Commerce operation and outdoor events teams who trade nationwide.

We now have an opportunity for an additional 3 recruits to the sales assistant team in our Garstang store.

The positions offered are: 16 hours over 4 days to include weekends on a rota basis and may include some early mornings

Our goal is to provide high class customer service and to increase the company’s growth and revenue through sales maximisation

Responsibilities:

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Maintain a fully stocked store
• Ascertain customers’ needs and wants
• Welcome and greet customers
• Process sales through our Epos till system - Training given
• Actively involved in receiving deliveries
• Keep up to date with product information
• Accurately describe product features and benefits
• Follow all companies policies and procedures
