Job summary

Juice Hospitality Ltd is seeking a Junior Sous Chef for a rural country pub in Warwickshire, within easy reach of Shipston-on-Stour. The role involves working with the senior kitchen team to prepare high-quality dishes using fresh ingredients, and supporting daily kitchen operations.

The successful candidate will contribute ideas for menus, help manage stock and waste, maintain food safety standards, and support junior staff. On-site parking and meals on shift are provided.

Are you a talented chef looking for a fresh opportunity in a friendly, food-led country pub?

This charming country pub is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Junior Sous Chef to join its kitchen team. This is an excellent opportunity for a local chef who enjoys preparing quality food, working with fresh ingredients and being part of a supportive team.

Located in the Warwickshire countryside, the pub is within driving distance of Shipston-on-Stour, Chipping Norton, Moreton-in-Marsh, Hook Norton and the surrounding villages.

The role

• Working alongside the senior kitchen team, you will:
• Prepare and cook consistently high-quality dishes
• Support the day-to-day running of the kitchen
• Help maintain excellent food safety and hygiene standards
• Assist with stock control, ordering and minimising waste
• Support and encourage junior members of the team
• Contribute ideas for menus, specials and seasonal dishes

This is in a rural location with very limited public transport. A driving licence and reliable access to your own transport are essential.

There is no live-in accommodation with this position, so the role will best suit someone living within a comfortable driving distance of Shipston on Stour and the surrounding villages.
