As Sous Chef, you'll work closely with the Head Chef to support the kitchen operation in Stow-on-the-Wold. You'll help the pub deliver consistently high-quality dishes while creating a positive environment where the team can develop and perform at its best.

You will:

• Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
• Lead and motivate the team during busy services
• Ensure dishes are prepared and presented efficiently
• Monitor food quality, taste and consistency
• Help develop new menu items and seasonal specials
• Train and mentor junior kitchen team members
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are followed

What we're looking for

The successful Sous Chef will bring strong culinary skills and a genuine passion for quality food to this Stow-on-the-Wold kitchen. Previous experience within a busy pub, restaurant or similar fresh-food environment would be ideal.
