Job summary

Manpower UK Limited is recruiting reliable Class 1 Drivers for a leading UK logistics and distribution organisation. You will operate HGVs on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations, ensuring timely, safe deliveries and compliant paperwork.

Qualifications

• Valid UK C+E driving licence and Driver CPC required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• No more than five penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• 2 years HGV driving experience in logistics or distribution.
• Strong knowledge of UK road transport legislation and vehicle safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 1 vehicle on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects as per procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and ensure security of goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining communication with the operations team.
• Follow road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.

What we're looking for
