Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Service Technician in Wimbledon to join a modern dealership workshop. You should hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent and have prior servicing/repair experience.

An MOT Licence is advantageous but training can be provided; 45 hours weekly with Saturday mornings on a rota. The role offers £41,156 basic plus bonus, with uncapped OTE of £51,250 and extensive company benefits.

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, including IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent – essential.
• Carry out scheduled vehicle servicing and maintenance.
• Complete mechanical repairs, including routine maintenance and cambelt replacement.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle faults.
• MOT Licence is advantageous but not essential – training provided.
• Right to work in the UK.

Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced Service Technician, Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician or Motor Vehicle Technician to join a large, modern dealership workshop in Wimbledon. Applicants must hold a recognised Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, have previous vehicle servicing and repair experience and have the right to work in the UK. An MOT Licence is advantageous but not essential, as training can be provided.

Location: Wimbledon

Salary: £41,156 basic + bonus

OTE: £51,250 uncapped, based on time saved and team profit

Hours: 45 hours per week, including Saturday mornings on a rota

The workshop offers exposure to advanced automotive technology including ADAS calibration and High Voltage Battery systems, alongside support from experienced Master Technicians. With a consistent workload of approximately 25–30 vehicles per day, there is also strong opportunity to maximise the uncapped bonus scheme.
