Codi Group is seeking two full-time permanent Project Workers for Hales House, a supported housing scheme in Torfaen. You will work with residents aged 16 and over to teach tenancy management, support them with qualifications and provide essential housing-related help.

The scheme is resident-led, centered on their home, and aims to offer meaningful activities that promote independence, skills development and social interaction within the community.

Job description

Two full-time permanent Project Workers in our Supported Housing Scheme, Hales House, in Torfaen.

About the role

Hales House provides supported generic accommodation to people, aged 16 plus. This service provides housing related support to assist individuals to move into independent living. You could be working with these incredible individuals to teach them tenancy management skills, support them with qualifications and provide any other support they may require.

Hales House is centred on what the people we support wants and needs and they have an involvement in how the scheme is run. The scheme is completely client led and is viewed as their home.

The role is designed to develop and increase the availability of meaningful activities and employment opportunities, which will support our resident’s independence, improve their skills and promote positive social interaction. The role will promote and enhance the scheme’s Psychologically Informed Environment by promoting activities and engagement within the scheme’s community.
