Job summary

Tarmac Trading Limited is hiring a Multi Skilled Operative for the Kevin Asphalt Plant near Stoke-on-Trent. The role suits someone with industry exposure or a desire to build a hands-on operational career, with a focus on safe, efficient production of construction materials.

The job may involve day and night shifts, and occasional early starts. A Full UK Driving Licence is required, and experience in quarrying or manufacturing is beneficial. Training can be provided for a shovel licence.

The site is convenientlylocatedfor candidates living inStoke-on-Trent, Cheadle, Leek, Uttoxeter, Ashbourne, Rocester, Alton, Blythe Bridge, Biddulph, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Longton, Stone and the surrounding areas.

What You'll Be Doing

As part of a busy operational team,you'llhelp ensure the safe and efficient production of construction materials by:

• Operating mobile plant and site equipment
• Supporting daily production targets
• Carrying out plant inspections and reporting defects
• Assisting with maintenance activities
• Maintaining high housekeeping standards
• Following Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures
• Working as part of a collaborative team to deliver excellent customer service

As our businessoperatesto meet customer demand, working hours can vary from day to day.You'llneed to be flexible, as this role may involve a mixture of day and night working, along with occasional early morning start times.

What We're Looking For
