We're looking for a Multi Skilled Operative to join our team at Kevin Asphalt Plant.
Whether you already have industry experience or are looking to develop a career in a hands-on operational role, we'd love to hear from you.
The site is convenientlylocatedfor candidates living inStoke-on-Trent, Cheadle, Leek, Uttoxeter, Ashbourne, Rocester, Alton, Blythe Bridge, Biddulph, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Longton, Stone and the surrounding areas.
What You'll Be Doing As part of a busy operational team,you'llhelp ensure the safe and efficient production of construction materials by: Operating mobile plant and site equipment Supporting daily production targets Carrying out plant inspections and reporting defects Assisting with maintenance activities Maintaining high housekeeping standards Following Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures Working as part of a collaborative team to deliver excellent customer service As our businessoperatesto meet customer demand, working hours can vary from day to day.You'llneed to be flexible, as this role may involve a mixture of day and night working, along with occasional early morning start times.
What We're Looking For We’relooking for someone who is: Safety focused and reliable A strong team player with a positive attitude Flexible and willing to learn new skills Confident communicating with colleagues and supervisors IT literate In possession of a Full UK Driving Licence Experience within quarrying, asphalt, manufacturing, construction or a similar industrial environment would be beneficial.
A Shovel Licence is desirable but not essential, as training can be provided.
