Job summary

Connect Appointments is recruiting Class 1 Drivers for ongoing work with an established haulage business based in Gatenby, near Leeming Bar, just off Junction 51 of the A1(M).

Our client operates a busy general haulage operation with a modern fleet, offering day and night shifts across 7 days a week. Paid weekly at £19.05 to £22.41 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay).

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with a minimum of 1 year's driving experience.
• CPC and Digital Tachograph cards required.
• No more than 6 points with no DR, DD, DG, CD, IN or TT endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Drive on scheduled day or night shifts, 12 hours per shift.
• Operate 7 days a week for ongoing full-time hours.
• Ensure compliance with road transport regulations and safety standards.

To be considered as a Class 1 Driver, you will need:
