Job summary

Connect Appointments are recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing temporary work with our Bamber Bridge-based client. The role offers evening shifts and weekly-pay in a busy regional logistics operation.

You will trunk and multi-drop across the region, complete paperwork accurately and comply with driving hours rules. A valid Class 1 licence with CPC and Tachograph card, plus up to six points, is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with a minimum of one year's HGV driving experience.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 points on licence.
• No DR, DD, DG, IN or TT endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Completing trunking runs depot to depot across the region.
• Carrying out multidrop local deliveries and collections.
• Completing all paperwork and delivery documentation accurately.
• Adhering to driving hours regulations and road safety requirements.

Our client is a well-established logistics business offering a variety of driving work to suit different preferences and schedules.

What's on offer?

shifts starting at 18:00/19:00

• Paid weekly at £20.17 per hour

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your work will include:
