Job summary

Connect Appointments is recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for ongoing temporary work with our Bamber Bridge-based client. The role offers shifts starting at 18:00/19:00 and weekly pay with holiday pay included.

You will trunk depot-to-depot, perform multidrop deliveries, complete paperwork accurately and comply with driving hours regulations. A Class 1 licence with at least one year of experience, CPC and tachograph card are required.

Qualifications

• A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence with a minimum of one year’s HGV driving experience.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• No DR, DD, DG, IN or TT endorsements

Our client is a well-established logistics business offering a variety of driving work to suit different preferences and schedules.

What’s on offer?

• Ongoing temporary position
• Monday to Friday, shifts starting at 18:00/19:00
• Paid weekly at £20.17 per hour – holiday pay included

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your work will include:

• Completing trunking runs depot to depot across the region

• Completing all paperwork and delivery documentation accurately
• Adhering to driving hours regulations and road safety requirements

The successful HGV Class 1 Driver will have:
