Octane Recruitment Ltd’s client, a fast-growing UK automotive fast-fit business, is seeking a Centre Manager for their Penrith centre. You will lead centre and workshop teams, drive sales, and ensure excellent customer service.

Role requires experience managing people in automotive environments, strong commercial awareness, and a commitment to safety and high service standards. Penrith location with weekday/fixed schedule and 12-month contract.

Job description

Our client who is one of the UK’s fastest growing fast-fit automotive business, are currently looking for a Centre Manager based at their retail centre in Penrith.

As a Centre Manager you would be responsible for the day-to-day running of the centre, managing and motivating the centre & workshop teams, driving sales performance and ensuring customers receive a high standard of service.

To be applicable for this role you must have experience managing people and have a strong background within the Automotive industry.

Location: Penrith

Shift and schedule: 08:30 - 17.30 Monday to Friday; Saturdays 08:30 – 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.

To be a Center Manager you will need:

• Valid UK driving licence – Essential
• Previous Centre Manager / Assistant Centre Manager experience within automotive, tyres, fast-fit or a similar environment
• Strong commercial and sales background
• Good automotive and mechanical knowledge
• Understanding of relevant Health & Safety requirements
• Strong customer-service and account-management skills
