Octane Recruitment client in Gloucester is seeking a Centre Manager to oversee the daily operations at the centre and workshop, leading teams, driving sales, and delivering high standards of customer service.

The role requires experience in managing people within the automotive sector, a strong commercial mindset, and solid knowledge of automotive operations. Salary is basic £40,000–£42,000 with uncapped OTE, and a rota-based, weekday with Saturday schedule.

Our client who is one of the UK’s fastest growing fast-fit automotive business, are currently looking for a Centre Manager based at their retail centre in Gloucester.

As a Centre Manager you would be responsible for the day-to-day running of the centre, managing and motivating the centre & workshop teams, driving sales performance and ensuring customers receive a high standard of service.

To be applicable for this role you must have experience managing people and have a strong background within the Automotive industry.

Location:

Gloucester

Pay / salary:

Basic: £40,000 to £42,000

OTE:

Uncapped and realistic £10,000

Shift and schedule:

08:30 – 17:30 Monday to Friday and Saturdays 08:30 – 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.

Centre Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage and motivate the centre and workshop teams and drive sales performance
• Run the day-to-day operation of the centre

To be a Center Manager you will need:

• Valid UK driving licence – Essential
• Previous Centre Manager / Assistant Centre Manager experience within automotive, tyres, fast-fit or a similar environment
• Strong commercial and sales background
• Good automotive and mechanical knowledge
• Team-management experience
• Understanding of relevant Health & Safety requirements
• Strong customer-service and account-management skills
