Job summary

Gi Group Holdings Recruitment Limited is recruiting 7.5T Drivers for an international courier client in Maidstone (ME20). The role covers daily deliveries/collections with a focus on timely, accurate handling of loads and device-based status updates.

Shifts are Monday to Friday with occasional weekends; pay is PAYE and includes advanced holiday pay. Applicants should have CPC/Tachograph, up to 6 points, and at least 1 year in 7.5T driving. Contact Gi Group for more details.

Qualifications

• Valid Tachograph and CPC qualifications.
• At least 1 year of experience in 7.5T roles.
• No more than 6 penalty points; no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle checks.
• Make around 20 deliveries/collections per day to customers and depots.
• Manual handling during loading and unloading.
• Use delivery device to confirm status and communicate with the depot.
• Prioritise workload to meet time commitments.

Job description

GI Group are currently recruiting multiple 7.5T Drivers for our internationally known client in Maidstone (ME20). This company provides courier services worldwide, focusing on the express road-based market and offering services such as delivery, freight forwarding, and logistics.

Drivers shifts and Pay:

• Monday to Friday - occasional weekends offered
• Hours of Work: 09:0am

7.5T Driver main duties will include:

• Conducting vehicle checks
• Making 20 deliveries/collections each day to customers and depots
• Manual handling is involved while loading and unloading
• Handling device to confirm delivery status and communicate with the depot
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

Driver requirements:

• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Valid and in date Tachograph and CPC qualifications
• At least 1yr experience with 7.5T roles
