Job summary

Gi Group UK is recruiting multiple 7.5T Drivers for our client in Park Royal (NW10). The role involves 30 deliveries/collections daily, with a 09:30 start, Monday to Friday and occasional weekends.

Pay is £19.73 per hour PAYE with overtime at £24.99 after 40 hours, and holiday pay included. Requirements include CPC and Tachograph qualifications, up to 6 penalty points, and at least 1 year of 7.5T experience. If you have questions, please contact your local Gi Group office.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Tachograph and CPC qualifications.
• Minimum 1 year of experience driving 7.5T vehicles.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no DD/ IN/ DR/ DN/ TT endorsements.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily vehicle checks and basic loading/unloading.
• Complete approximately 30 deliveries/collections per day to customers and depots.
• Communicate delivery status to depots using the device.
• Prioritise workload to meet time commitments.

Job description

GI Group are currently recruiting multiple 7.5T Drivers for our internationally known client in Park Royal (NW10). This company provides courier services worldwide, focusing on the express road-based market and offering services such as delivery, freight forwarding, and logistics.

Drivers shifts and Pay:

• Monday to Friday - occasional weekends offered
• Hours of Work: 09:30am
• £19.73/hr standard*
• £24.99/hr OT (after 40hrs)*

Please note that this pay rate is PAYE and includes advanced holiday pay.

7.5T Driver main duties will include:

• Conducting vehicle checks
• Making 30 deliveries/collections each day to customers and depots
• Manual handling is involved while loading and unloading
• Handling device to confirm delivery status and communicate with the depot
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

Driver requirements:

• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Good customer service skills
• Valid and in date Tachograph and CPC qualifications
• At least 1yr experience with 7.5T roles
