Job summary

GI Group are recruiting multiple 7.5T Drivers for our client in Sittingbourne. Typical shifts run Monday to Friday from 08:00 to around 18:00, with occasional weekends offered. PAYE pay includes advanced holiday pay and is for a 7.5T driver role.

Requirements include valid Tachograph and CPC qualifications, up to 6 penalty points, and at least 1 year of 7.5T experience. For details, contact the Gi Group office for support and guidance.

• Assist with loading/unloading and handling devices to confirm status.

Job description

GI Group are currently recruiting multiple 7.5T Drivers for our internationally known client in Sittingbourne (ME10). This company provides courier services worldwide, focusing on the express road-based market and offering services such as delivery, freight forwarding, and logistics.

Drivers shifts and Pay:

• Monday to Friday - occasional weekends offered
• Hours of Work: 08:00 - approx 18:00

*Please note that this pay rate is PAYE and includes advanced holiday pay

7.5T Driver main duties will include:

• Conducting vehicle checks
• Making deliveries/collections each day to customers and depots
• Manual handling is involved while loading and unloading
• Handling device to confirm delivery status and communicate with the depot
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

Driver requirements:

• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Valid and in date Tachograph and CPC qualifications
• At least 1yr experience with 7.5T roles
