Job summary

GI Group currently recruits for multiple 7.5T Driver positions in the Dartford area. Roles include daily deliveries and collections to customers and depots, with a 9:00 start and Monday-to-Friday shifts, occasional weekends. Tachograph and CPC qualifications are required, along with at least 1 year of 7.5T experience and good customer service.

Pay is PAYE at £19.73/hour standard and £24.99/hour OT after 40 hours, with weekend opportunities in some cases.

Job description

GI Group are currently recruiting multiple 7.5T Drivers for our internationally known client in Dartford (DA1). This company provides courier services worldwide, focusing on the express road-based market and offering services such as delivery, freight forwarding, and logistics.

Drivers shifts and Pay:

Monday to Friday - occasional weekends offered

Hours of Work: 09:00am

£19.73/hr standard*
£24.99/hr OT (after 40hrs)*Please note that this pay rate is PAYE and includes advanced holiday pay

7.5T Driver main duties will include:

• Conducting vehicle checks
• Making deliveries/collections each day to customers and depots
• Manual handling is involved while loading and unloading
• Handling device to confirm delivery status and communicate with the depot
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

Driver requirements:

• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Good customer service skills
• Valid and in date Tachograph and CPC qualifications
• At least 1yr experience with 7.5T roles
