Job summary

Gi Group are recruiting multiple 7.5T drivers for our client in Chelmsford. The role covers delivery and collection tasks with dictated daily targets and pay rates.

The role requires Tachograph and CPC qualifications, up to 6 penalty points, and at least 1 year of 7.5T experience. PAYE rate is stated with overtime eligibility and weekend options where available.

Qualifications

• No more than 6 penalty points; no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsements.
• Good customer service skills.
• Valid and in date Tachograph and CPC qualifications.
• At least 1yr experience with 7.5T roles.

Responsibilities

• Conducting vehicle checks and ensuring safety checks are completed.
• Make 30 deliveries/collections daily to customers and depots.
• Manual handling involved during loading/unloading.
• Use device to confirm delivery status and communicate with the depot.
• Prioritise workload to meet time commitments.

GI Group are currently recruiting multiple 7.5T Drivers for our internationally known client in Chelmsford (CM2). This company provides courier services worldwide, focusing on the express road-based market and offering services such as delivery, freight forwarding, and logistics.

Drivers shifts and Pay:

• Monday to Friday - occasional weekends offered
• Hours of Work: 08:00
• £17.98/hr standard*
• £23.43/hr OT (after 40hrs)*Please note that this pay rate is PAYE and includes advanced holiday pay

7.5T Driver main duties will include:

• Conducting vehicle checks
• Making 30 deliveries/collections each day to customers and depots
• Manual handling is involved while loading and unloading
• Handling device to confirm delivery status and communicate with the depot
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

Driver requirements:

• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Good customer service skills
• Valid and in date Tachograph and CPC qualifications
• At least 1yr experience with 7.5T roles
