The successful candidate will be a registered nurse with leadership experience, committed to clinical excellence, staff development, and maintaining standards to meet CQC requirements.

Qualifications

  • A Registered Nurse (NMC Pin essential) with experience in a leadership or management role.
  • Experience within a nursing home setting and a strong understanding of dementia and general nursing care.
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • A compassionate and proactive leader who can inspire and support a team to deliver outstanding care.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and high standards of clinical practice.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strong leadership and guidance to nursing and care teams, ensuring a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Support the Registered Manager in maintaining compliance with CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the delivery of person-centred care, ensuring dignity, respect, and compassion remain at the heart of all practices.
  • Lead and support staff with training, development, and revalidation processes.
  • Manage clinical governance and ensure high-quality documentation and reporting.
  • Foster strong relationships with residents, their families, and external professionals to enhance the quality of care.
