Cygnet Hospital Derby is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to perform day-to-day upkeep of plant, services and vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient operation in a healthcare setting.
You will work Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm, undertaking decorating, basic joinery and general building tasks, maintaining equipment and recording checks while following safety procedures; an enhanced DBS check is required.

We are looking for a confident Maintenance Assistant to carry out a range of day-to-day maintenance tasks in order to ensure the hospital is maintained in a safe and efficient functional order, making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our care at Cygnet Hospital Derby.
You’ll be working Monday - Friday from 7:30am - 4:00pm (40) hours a week in a hospital that supports individuals with personality disorders and mental health diagnoses.

Our integrated male care pathway includes Litchurch Ward, our low secure ward, and the Wyvern Unit, our mental health rehabilitation service. Alvaston Ward, our specialist female personality disorder service, is one of the leading services of its kind in the East and West Midlands.
