• Advising customers on products where appropriate.
• Processing sales and taking payments.
• Preparing customer orders for collection or delivery.
• Booking goods in and putting stock away.
• Picking and packing orders accurately.
• Keeping the trade counter, warehouse and stock areas clean and organised.
• Checking stock levels and assisting with stock control.
• Assisting customers with product enquiries.
• Carrying out occasional local deliveries and collections when required.

IBS Equipment Ltd is a well-established independent supplier of fixings, fasteners, tools, workwear, PPE and site consumables, based in Kirkby, Merseyside.

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and hardworking Counter Sales Assistant to join our team.

The main part of this role will be working on our busy trade counter, serving customers and helping with the day-to-day running of the business. There will also be occasional local deliveries and collections when required.
