Qualifications

• Previous experience on trade counters preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle cash and take payments.

Responsibilities

• Serving customers on the trade counter and providing a friendly, helpful service.
• Taking customer orders in person and over the telephone.
• Advising customers on products where appropriate.
• Processing sales and taking payments.
• Preparing customer orders for collection or delivery.
• Booking goods in and putting stock away.
• Picking and packing orders accurately.
• Keeping the trade counter, warehouse and stock areas clean and organised.
• Checking stock levels and assisting with stock control.
• Assisting customers with product enquiries.
• Carrying out occasional local deliveries and collections when required.
