Job summary

Acorn Stairlifts UK is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our UK Service Department, covering Kingston upon Thames and surrounding KT postcode areas. You will travel daily to customer homes to service and repair Acorn Stairlifts and may stay overnight as required, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

You will diagnose issues, perform hands-on troubleshooting, carry out product updates and safety checks, and communicate clearly with customers.

Qualifications

• Must be based in the KT postcode area.
• Daily travel to customer homes to service and repair Acorn Stairlifts.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and diagnostics of existing stairlifts.
• Provide high levels of customer service and communicate effectively with customers.

• Carry out product updates and safety checks in a safe manner; communicate feedback to customers.

The role consists of:

Travelling on a daily basis to our customer homes to service and repair Acorn Stairlifts.

May include multiple overnight stays per week.

Diagnosing, and providing hands on troubleshooting, service, and repairs to existing Stairlifts within the field

Meeting all target and deadlines in a professional and timely manner.

Provide high levels of customer service - ensure satisfaction and implement any necessary corrective actions, with the assistance of management.

Carrying out the product update and safety checks in a safe manner

To communicate effectively with external customers, and provide customer feedback.
