Job summary

Acorn Stairlifts UK in Steeton, West Yorkshire, is seeking a hardworking Production Operative to join our head office team. You will assist in facilitating seamless production and help ensure the factory runs efficiently.

Hours are Monday to Friday 2.00pm–10.30pm. The role offers an hourly rate of £12.95 plus a shift bonus, with comprehensive induction and benefits including healthcare, pension, free on-site parking and subsidised canteen.

Qualifications

• Strong eye for detail and precision.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
• Experience with assembly tasks and using basic hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products using electrical and mechanical equipment and hand tools.
• Adhere to production/warehouse processes and quality policies while following health and safety procedures.
• Keep areas tidy and shelves organized.

Job description

We are looking for a hard working Production Operative to become part of our team at our head office located in Steeton, West Yorkshire. Key Responsibilities

Assembly of our products using a range of electrical & mechanical equipment also including hand tool work.

Adhering to production/warehouse processes and company quality policies whilst adhering to health and safety procedures.

Ensure all areas are kept clutter free and all shelving and parts are kept neat and tidy

Cooperate with team members and communicate effectively to achieve production targets and meet customer demands.
