Ysgol Estyn requires an experienced School Secretary/Administrator to provide front-of-house support and administrative services to the Headteacher and Senior Management Team. This is a key role within the school team being front of office and often the first point of call. We are looking for someone who shares our values, takes pride in their work and brings warmth, positivity and care to the role.The principle responsibilities will include servicing all the administrative needs of the school and those delegated by the Headteacher, and Senior Management Team. The working hours will be Monday to Friday, 8.15am – 3.30pm. Additional hours may be available on request and/or during busy times of the year.The successful candidate will be educated to a good standard, demonstrating excellent literacy, numeracy and ICT skills. The key requisites of this position are professionalism, integrity and confidentiality. Additionally, the post holder must be able to work independently, as part of a team and display enthusiasm and flexibility. The post holder must be self-motivated and willing to work largely unsupervised and must be able to foster a highly organised administrative operation. They must be approachable and friendly as they will be the first contact visitors will have with the school.
