Sedgemoor Manor School is recruiting a Maintenance Assistant to join the maintenance team. You will carry out reactive day-to-day maintenance within the site and grounds, and support other homes in the community, liaising with contractors when on site.
The role is five working days a week, with hours possibly spread across the weekend. Ideal candidates will have maintenance experience, COSHH knowledge, and be organised, adaptable and thorough.

We are looking for a passionate handyperson and an enthusiastic DIYer, who will carry out reactive day-to-day maintenance issues within the site and their grounds. You will also assist in supporting our other homes in the community, liaising with contractors when on site and ad-hoc requests from management as and when necessary.
This role is for five working days - these hours could be completed across the weekend if desired.
Sedgemoor Manor is a specialist day school for young people who have needs associated with a diagnosis on the autistic spectrum/SPLD and are aged between 7 and 19 years. Our tailored approach means we can support young people with a wide range of learning difficulties. Ideally, you will have experience in some of the following areas: plumbing, electrical, carpentry, plastering (qualifications are not essential).
