Home Group Limited is seeking a Positive Behaviour Support Worker (CQC) to help people with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs live their best lives. You’ll join a team that prides itself on kindness and respect, supporting independence and helping individuals feel part of their community.

This permanent, full-time role in Halesowen offers a salary of £27,500–£28,300 per year plus a health cash plan and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Complex Care setting and working towards Level 2 Diploma in Adult Health & Social Care.
• Experience as a Support Worker supporting people with complex needs or behaviours of distress.
• Flexible, person-centred approach, treating each customer as unique and adapting to their needs.
• Experience of positive risk management, ensuring safety and wellbeing of customers and colleagues.
• Makaton is a plus but not mandatory.

What you’ll do

You have

• Experience in a Complex Care setting, with a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Health & Social Care or are prepared to work towards it.
• Worked as a Support Worker, supporting people with complex needs, or behaviours of distress.
• A flexible, person-centred approach, identifying each customer as unique and adapting to their needs
• Experience of positive risk management, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of customers and colleagues.
• Makaton, but that’s not a deal breaker!

The practical bits

• You'll work a mix of early shifts (7:00am to 2:30pm), late shifts (2:30pm to 10:00pm), and long days (7:00am to 10:00pm) on a rolling rota, including weekends.
• Able to use technology to update create and update support plans, communicate with colleagues and complete online learning.
• We’ll make sure you have a fantastic induction with ongoing learning and support.
• You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check, we pay for it.
