Job summary

Black Country Housing Group (BCHG) is hiring a Data & Performance Officer to strengthen data quality, support performance reporting and improve organisational assurance. You will work closely with the Data Governance Manager to ensure data accuracy, reliability and fit for purpose across BCHG.

The role focuses on data quality assurance, validation checks and preparation of reporting datasets, with a hybrid work pattern (3 days remote). Permanent, full-time position based at Blackheath, B65.

We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Data & Performance Officer to join our growing team and play a key role in improving data quality, supporting performance reporting and strengthening organisational assurance.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to help ensure BCHG's operational and performance data is accurate, reliable and fit for purpose.

Working closely with the Data Governance Manager and colleagues across the organisation, you will support data quality assurance activities, carry out validation checks, maintain quality logs and assist with the preparation of regulatory and performance reporting datasets. You will help identify data issues, support corrective actions and contribute to the continuous improvement of data management practices across BCHG.

You will play an important role in ensuring BCHG has trusted data that underpins effective decision-making, regulatory compliance and service improvement.
