Are you an analyst who thrives on telling compelling stories with data?
Do you want your work to have a tangible impact on the community?
We are looking for a Data and Performance Analyst to join the Housing and Communities team and help shape the future of our housing services.
In this high-impact role, you won't just be crunching numbers - you will be the bridge between complex data and strategic action. You will be at the heart of transforming how we use information to improve outcomes for our residents, supporting everything from operational repairs to long-term strategic planning.
Build & Modernising: You will help to develop a new Digital Housing Data Model for Adur Homes, conducting gap analysis and assessing legacy data quality to prepare for our new digital housing system.
Tell the Story: You will translate complex statistical findings into clear, jargon-free, and actionable insights for senior executives and operational managers.
Partner with Teams: You will embed yourself within operational teams - such as repairs and income - to understand their daily challenges and co-design data solutions that actually help them.
Drive Performance: You will develop a performance management framework, lead reporting that influences strategic decisions, and create predictive models to anticipate customer needs.
You are a proactive, detail-driven analyst who combines technical expertise with a customer centric mindset. You are comfortable working autonomously, but also excel at building strong, collaborative relationships across teams.
Data Experience: You have a proven track record in data analysis, creating performance reports, and working with large datasets, ideally within the public or housing sector.
Technical Proficiency: You have advanced skills in Power BI (dashboard development, DAX), SQL (data extraction and modeling), and complex Google Sheets (PivotTables, VBA).
Communication: You are an expert at presenting complex data to non-technical stakeholders and can navigate competing demands tactfully.
Qualifications: You hold a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Mathematics, or have equivalent relevant professional experience.
We believe in empowering our employees. As part of our team, you’ll be supported to work in a way that is participative, adaptive, and resilient.
We value honesty, inclusivity, and ambition. If you are passionate about delivering high-quality services for our residents and want to be part of a team that listens, thinks big, and acts beyond the service, we want to hear from you.
At Adur & Worthing, we are committed to supporting care leavers, in accordance with the Children (Leaving Care) Act 2000 and the Children and Social Work Act 2017. To that end, you operate a guaranteed interview scheme for anyone meeting the essential criteria of the role they are applying for. In order to be considered for this, you will need to be a care leaver under the age of 25 at the time of application. Please confirm that you are a care leaver in the "Showing how you meet the person specification and job description" section of the application form.
As a Disability Confident employer, we will ensure that a fair and proportionate number of applicants declaring a disability, that meet the essential criteria for this position, will be offered an interview.
