Job summary

Potens is recruiting a Support Worker for Parkside Lodge in Bensham, near Gateshead City Centre. You will provide personal care and emotional support to adults with mental health needs, with 1-to-1 support and activity facilitation in-house and in the community.

Shifts run 8am-6pm, 10am-8pm and weekends 8am-8pm. The role offers a confidential Employee Assistance Programme and funded development from level 2 to level 5 NVQ in Health & Social Care, plus the Care Certificate on offer.

Qualifications

• Providing personal care and emotional support.
• Supporting with 1 to 1 hours.
• Supporting activities within the service and also out in the community.
• Cleaning and household duties.
• Shifts would include 8 am to 6pm, 10 am to 8 pm and at weekends 8 am to 8 pm.
• Flexibility to cover annual leave or extra hours when needed.

Parkside Lodge is a small residential service based in Bensham, close to Gateshead City Centre. Providing specialised support to 10 adults with mental health needs.
