Job summary

Nuffield Health Farnborough is seeking a Lifeguard to help keep members safe while using the pool, spa, sauna and steam room. This is a part-time bank role, paid at £13.10 per hour, with flexible hours to match business needs.

You will hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and be able to provide training records. A positive, team-focused attitude and commitment to great customer care are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Ability to provide ongoing training records.
• Enthusiastic, positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills; strong customer care.

Responsibilities

• Help members stay safe and healthy when using wet side facilities: pool, spa, sauna, steam room.
• Remain attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members when using facilities.
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to incidents promptly.
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times.

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.
