Job summary

Newbury FWC Lifeguard position at Nuffield Health seeks a professional to supervise and assist members in pool, spa, sauna and steam room areas. You will uphold safety standards, engage with members, and contribute to a welcoming facility environment.

The role requires an NPLQ or equivalent, a positive attitude, and a commitment to teamwork. This is a bank/ad-hoc contract with flexible hours and benefits including pension and gym access.

Qualifications

• Must hold National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and provide training records.
• Demonstrates enthusiasm, positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Passionate about customer care and a strong team player.

Up to £13.10 per hour depending on experience

As a Lifeguard at our gym, you'll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and you're able to provide ongoing training records. As a Lifeguard, you will:

Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities - the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room

Be attentive and alert at all times

Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment

Welcome and support members when using the facilities

Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away

Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
