Job summary

Nuffield Health in Letchworth is seeking a Lifeguard to join our bank/part-time roster, ensuring member safety across our pool and wet facilities. The role requires vigilance, excellent customer care and a commitment to working ad-hoc hours.

You'll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent, with training records available, and be a real team player contributing to a safe, welcoming gym environment for members and guests.

Qualifications

• Able to provide training records.
• Strong customer care and team player.

Responsibilities

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities - the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times

Working on the bank means you are not contracted to a set number of hours per week but instead work on an ad-hoc basis to suit the needs of the business and your availability.

As a Lifeguard at our gym, you'll hold a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent and you're able to provide ongoing training records. As a Lifeguard, you will:
