Daniel Owen Ltd in Maldon is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead the delivery of a major industrial/commercial project. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and quality.

The role requires proven site management experience on industrial or commercial sites, strong leadership, stakeholder management, and SMSTS/CSCS/First Aid certifications.

A well-established contractor is seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead the delivery of a major industrial/commercial construction project in Maldon.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Senior Site Manager looking to join a growing business with a strong pipeline of secured work.

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing all site operations throughout the construction programme.
• Coordinating subcontractors, labour and materials.
• Driving programme and ensuring key milestones are achieved.
• Maintaining the highest standards of health & safety.
• Monitoring quality and ensuring works are completed to specification.
• Managing logistics and daily site activities.
• Producing progress reports and attending project meetings.
• Building strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on industrial/commercial projects
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing and site management.
• Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience managing multiple trades and subcontractors.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications.
• Stable employment history and a proactive approach to project delivery.

Please note: This position is ideally suited to candidates from an industrial or commercial construction background. Applicants with predominantly residential experience are unlikely to be suitable.
