Northampton | £20m Project | Permanent
We are recruiting for an experienced Project Manager / Senior Site Manager to take a leading role on a £20m industrial construction project in Northampton.
Our client is an established main contractor with an excellent track record within the industrial, logistics and distribution sector, delivering substantial projects throughout the Midlands and across the UK.
We are particularly interested in speaking with construction professionals who understand industrial builds and can confidently manage the pace, sequencing and subcontractor coordination involved in delivering these projects.
You’ll be joining the team responsible for the delivery of a circa £20m industrial/logistics development in Northampton.
We’re looking for someone who understands the full lifecycle of this type of project — from groundworks and foundations through steel frame, roofing and cladding, floor slabs, M&E, internal office accommodation, external works, service yards and final handover.
Depending upon your experience, you could join at either Project Manager or Senior Site Manager level.
You’ll work closely with the wider project, commercial and technical teams to ensure the scheme is delivered safely, on programme, to specification and to the expected quality standards.
Ideally, you will have previously delivered industrial, logistics, warehouse or distribution projects for a main contractor.
We’re looking for somebody who is comfortable taking ownership, making decisions and driving a project rather than simply monitoring progress.
Experience taking projects from groundworks through to completion would be particularly attractive.
This is an opportunity to join an established contractor with a strong and growing workload within one of the most active areas of the construction market.
You’ll be taking a key role on a £20m project, with further opportunities available beyond completion for somebody looking to establish a long-term career with the business.
