Job summary

365 Recruit is seeking a Senior Site Manager to lead a large commercial project on a site in Oxford for a leading main contractor. The role requires a professional with extensive site experience and a strong track record of delivering complex schemes on time and to budget.

You will be responsible for safety, quality, and programme delivery, manage site teams and subcontractors, and act as the face of the company with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Senior Site Manager on major commercial schemes.
• SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, First Aid and Temporary Works ticket are required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for coordinating site teams and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Fully responsible for safe, on-time delivery of on-site works within budget.
• Manage day-to-day operations of a large construction site and supervise subcontractors.

We require an experienced Senior Site Manager to work for a leading main contractor on a large commercial project in Oxford.

Senior Site Manager

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Senior Site Manager (minimum 5 years) with experience of managing major commercial projects £1M +.

The Senior Site Manager role:

• As a site based Manager you will be fully responsible for the successful operational delivery of projects on site ensuring safety, product quality, are completed within the contracted timescales, safely and within financial controls.
• The day to day management of a large construction site and all relevant activities that take place on that site. This is a key role that carries a lot of responsibility not only in managing a site team and sub-contractors but being the face of the company at all times, protecting its integrity and reputation
• Appropriate qualifications, SMSTS, CSCS Black Card, First Aid and also Temporary Works ticket
• The ability to communicate effectively is required in order to manage Customer and stakeholder relationships, in addition to strong planning and organisational skills to deliver operational excellence and efficiency.
• Strong leadership skills including experience in leading site teams, large programmes of work and has the confidence and ability to lead, influence and communicate with others to deliver targets
