Job summary

CareTech is seeking a residential support worker at Wallace Hall in Dunscore, Scotland to help young people with daily routines, school preparation, meals, and engaging activities.

The role features 2 on/4 off shifts with overnight sleep-ins; pay £26,227 to £30,160 plus £67.50 per sleep-in, with around 10 sleeps per month adding £8k+ and an OTE of £34,617. Full-time contract and training provided.

• A full UK manual driving licence is required.

What You’ll Do

As a residential support worker you will support young people with their daily routines, such as getting them ready for school, prepping for meal times and planning activities. You will also:

• Create a warm, homely environment by helping with light housekeeping
• Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support
• Plan and join fun activities like trips to the park, popcorn & movie nights or creative projects
• Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.

Where You’ll Do It

Wallace Hall is a beautiful home in Dunscore, that is registered to support 6 young people. Our home is made up of 'The main house' and 'The Annexe' with beautiful grounds for the young people to enjoy.
