Job summary

ACAD in Dunscore is seeking a Senior Residential Childcare Worker to support young people in daily routines and engaging activities. The role involves preparing for school, meals, and planning activities in a warm home setting, with ongoing training provided.

Applicants from education, youth work, childcare, healthcare, or related backgrounds are welcome; experience not required. Full-time contract, induction, and safeguarding steps included.

• Build strong, meaningful relationships and provide emotional support
• Plan and join fun activities like trips to the park, popcorn & movie nights or creative projects
• Keep essential records to ensure the best possible care.

Role: Senior Residential Childcare Worker

Location: Dunscore, DG2

Pay: £28,645 to £29,464 plus £67.50 per sleep-in, expected 10 sleeps per month gives an additional £8000+ per year -

OTE £37,464.

A Full UK Driving License Is Required.

Where You’ll Do It

Wallace Hall is a beautiful home in Dunscore, that is registered to support 6 young people. Our home is made up of 'The main house' and 'The Annexe' with beautiful grounds for the young people to enjoy.
