Randstad Education in Okehampton is seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to provide targeted 1:1 and small group support for students with SEMH and ASD/ADHD. You will de-escalate challenging behaviours using restorative approaches and help learners build confidence, emotional regulation, and social skills.
The role is day-to-day and flexible, with term-time hours from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, offering a supportive school environment and opportunities to make a positive impact on young people’s lives.

At the heart of our school, we are committed to supporting the young people in our care to build their self-esteem and confidence, develop meaningful and positive friendships, and engage in a curriculum that will allow them to find success in their adult lives. All of our students have Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) as a core identified need. The majority of our learners also present with additional needs, including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and communication and interaction difficulties.
