Job summary

Randstad Education is recruiting a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner for a Forest Row setting. You will provide high-quality care and early education under EYFS, acting as a Key Person to a group of children and tracking progress.

A DBS check is required, preferably Update Service, and the role is a full-time, permanent position. The ideal candidate will have Level 3 Early Years Educator / Childcare qualification and experience in a nursery, with a strong understanding of EYFS and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and early education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Act as a Key Person to a group of children, tracking their progress and creating engaging, stimulating learning opportunities.
• Build strong, trusting, and professional relationships with children, parents, and carers.
• Ensure a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children at all times.
• Adhere strictly to all health & safety, safeguarding, and child protection policies.

Qualifications

Qualification: Level 3 Early Years Educator / Childcare qualification (or equivalent recognised standard).

Experience: Proven experience working in a nursery or professional early years setting.

Knowledge: Sound understanding of EYFS, child development principles, and robust safeguarding protocols.

Commitment: Ability to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

Compliance: Must hold an Enhanced DBS check (preferably on the Update Service) or be willing to undergo one prior to starting.
