Job summary

Randstad Education in Horley is seeking a Level 3 Early Years Nursery Practitioner for a permanent, full-time role. You will plan and deliver EYFS-aligned activities, act as Key Person, and build strong relationships with parents and colleagues.

Candidate must possess a Level 3 Early Years qualification, nursery experience, and an enhanced DBS (Update Service preferred). Standard hours are 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with ongoing development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full Level 3 Early Years qualification (NVQ/CACHE or equivalent).
• Proven nursery experience.
• Enhanced DBS check on Update Service or willing to apply.

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities inline with the EYFS framework.
• Act as a Key Person to a group of children, tracking their progress and supporting their individual development.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment that supports child-led learning.
• Adhere to all safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.

Qualifications

• Possess a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent).
• Proven experience working within a nursery setting.
• Excellent knowledge of the EYFS, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for early childhood education.
• An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service, or a willingness to undergo a new DBS application prior to starting.
